Green Olive Media is handling public relations for the 2010 Florida Scallop & Music Festival, taking place August 7 – 8.  The festival, once named The St Joseph Bay Scallop Festival, is in its 14th year.  Recreational-harvested scallops are enjoyed and celebrated during this event featuring live music, arts and more. The bay scallop is found in large numbers in the coastal water north and west of the Suwannee River, mainly near Steinhatchee and St. Joseph Bay. The Florida Scallop & Music Festival is held in downtown Port St. Joe, Florida on Florida’s beautiful “Forgotten Coast” in Gulf County.  The area is located in Florida’s Northwestern Panhandle, approximately 35 miles southeast of Panama City and approximately 100 miles southwest of Tallahassee.  The Florida Scallop & Music Festival is presented annually by the Gulf County Chamber of Commerce. Led by Graphic Designer Meggan Talley, Green Olive Media is handling the festival's brand development, from event logo, to print collateral and ephemera, to the website design.
