Alvin Diec was born in sunny, southern California and raised in even sunnier Orlando, Florida. Perhaps those frequent trips to Disney World played a part in developing his right brain. He received a B.S.B.A. in Computer Science from The University of Florida, and his final two years of academia were spent in graduate studies at Portfolio Center in Atlanta. There, he was taught that sleep is for the weak, CMYK is not a rare airborne disease, and plenty of Photoshop tricks.

Alvin has a penchant for shades of grey, though he can design things in all colors of the [Pantone] rainbow. He visits the same bakery every day before work and the same coffee shop every day after work. You could say he's into coffee...and routines. His appetite is legendary, and this could largely be attributed to working with award-winning restaurants and companies such as JOEL, Restaurant Eugene, Atkins Park Tavern, Five and Ten, the Highland Bakery and Atlanta Brewing Co. Having been with Green Olive for the past three years, Alvin has also worked with Central Atlanta Progress, Meyer Closings, Oncology Solutions, Home Free Foods, Fire and Flavor Grilling Company, The City of Riverdale and the Peachtree Road Farmers Market. He has experience in corporate identity, packaging, and various web and print design. When he's not indulging in typography and visual metaphors, Alvin enjoys listening to Jeff's office soundtrack and eating the ever-present bacon at Green Olive meetings.
