Elizabeth Moore has 17 years of professional experience building and supporting brands. An accomplished corporate strategist and marketer, her vision and expertise in holistic business performance have driven notable enterprise growth in the retail, lifestyle, and general consumer goods and services sectors.
Elizabeth's professional career began in 1990 when she worked in public accounting with Evans, Porter, Bryan LLC on engagements in the agribusiness industry. The following years were spent in ascending positions with Equitable Real Estate Investment Management, Turner Broadcast Systems, and the Coca-Cola Company.
Embarking on a career in branding communications with a focus on food & beverage and lifestyle industries, Elizabeth embraced her roots. Her paternal grandparents were the proud owners of the Mill Pond Plantation in Greenwood, FL (once the largest registered Black Angus herd in the state of Florida and home to a dairy farm). Elizabeth’s maternal grandparents owned the White Tractor Company and a farming irrigation business in Marianna, FL, which served farming communicties throughout northwest Florida. Her father owns Sunbelt Packaging, which brokers food and beverage packaging to the likes of Elm Hill Meats, Wampler Sausage, and R.L. Zeigler Company.
Offering a blend of creative and operational strengths, Elizabeth has worked to achieve client-company turnarounds and is recognized for her success in growing sales and profits, particularly in the hospitality and lifestyle markets. Her strategic approach to building a brand is reflected in her work as a partner in Green Olive Media. Representative client work includes projects with the cities of Atlanta, Riverdale and Decatur, 2005 James Beard Award Winner / Best Chef of the U.K.: Chef Joel Antunes (JOEL) and 2007 James Beard Award Nominee for “Best Chef Southeast” / Food & Wine Magazine “Best New Chef -- 2002”: Chef Hugh Acheson (Five & Ten), nationally-acclaimed chefs Linton Hopkins (Restaurant Eugene), Michael Tuohy (Woodfire Grill), and Delia Champion (Flying Biscuit Café Restaurant Group / Raving Brands), and marketed food & beverage companies including Atlanta Brewing Company, Sweetwater Brewing Company, and Apalachicola Oysters.
As part of collaborative projects with the Green Olive Media Design team, Elizabeth has served as project manager on the branding identity concepts for Fire & Flavor Grilling Products, Home Free Foods, Virginia Willis Culinary Productions, Oncology Solutions LLC, Central Atlanta Progress, the City of Riverdale, and the Southeastern Flower Show.
Elizabeth attended Stetson University and Georgia State University and received a B.B.A. in Accounting/Marketing and a B.A. in English: Advanced Composition & Rhetoric. She serves on the Board of Directors for the Peachtree Road Farmer’s Market. Elizabeth is a member of the Southern Foodways Alliance, Slow Food USA, James Beard Foundation, the Southern Food & Beverage Museum, American Institute of Wine & Food, the Margaret Mitchell House and the Center for Southern Literature. She is a member of the Decatur First United Methodist Church and is a resident of the city of Atlanta where she resides with her partner / husband / musician / painter / Jeff, and their 2-year old son.
